An online magazine, by a photographer, without a lot of commercial, texts about stuff, facts… just fashion pictures, good looking and inspiring art, a stylish and good looking magazine made simply to please the eye…. how does that sound?

What are your favourite magazines out there, and why? Here are some of my favourites;

I read very little though, some stuff in ELLE and lantliv, but mostly I just look at the pictures, get inspired, wonder how they’ve done etc. Also, we have a local shop that sells tons of magazines, books and movies etc. second hand, and new magazines often end up there not long after they’ve been out in the stores – so I try to shop magazines there, it’s cheaper and better for the environment, re-using ftw!

That’s also why online magazines are so great. Although theres nothing like the feel of a new magazine in your hands, or the look of one with a lovely cover lying around in your apartment, telling visitors something about yourself…

Yesterday I shot at da Matteo, while they were roasting their coffee (I love that they do it themselves!), so now I’m editing coffee-pics like a boss!

I really need to get my shit together now! I spend too much time doing nothing, and feeling bad for doing nothing haha.

1. More water – less coffee (will be hard)
2. Time to eat more fruit
3. I’m gonna start going to poi practice again, instead of just heading home to sit by the computer
4. More walks out in the nature
5. Read more books (which I did like all the time before!)

This is a must! For my well-being and also I feel like I’m not using time to it’s fullest, need to change that!

We have 2 weeks of fashion workshop with photographer Pär Zennström now. He’s acting as our creative director/ project manager. Our assignment is to shoot for the model agency JO! Models that previously went under a different name, but they are now re-launching themselves and need new pictures. We were divided into for groups, and each group shall produce one picture (a collage-like thing) and a movie (stop motion). Also, their models that we got to use for free will get pictures for their portfolios.

It was really fun and I really liked our model Ida. I can’t wait to show you my pictures of her, as well as an behind the scenes movie and the final results!

I am back from Berlin – and it was great! I will make a huuugeee blogpost about it later. In the meantime, here’s what’s been happening on my instagram (@raniamaria):

I had a rather spontaneous shoot with Jasmine today! We planned it before the weekend, or at least that we’d have it today. We sort of decided clothes late last night, but today while I was on the tram to the shoot she mailed pictures with other clothes and we changed our minds haha!

We shot at three different locations, took lots of pictures and I used both my 24mm and lensbaby 2.0 – in just an hour, talk about being effective! Jasmine also accidentally flashed a breast while shooting, infront of a couple sitting in the sun haha! I have so much fun shooting her and she’s an amazing model! <3
