I fear emptiness and also death, not that I’ll die, but that I’ll loose my near and dear ones. I was at my first funeral recently, and a friends grandma just passed away…. I see how my own grandma is growing weaker and I fear the worst.

To be left alone without those I love around me, it’s one of my biggest fears.

My group consisted of Anna-Karin Löfgren, Ellika Henrikson, Evelina Hultqvist, Fanny Jigman, Simon Haglund and of course Rania Rönntoft (me) :)

Now, we worked as a group and I am not sure who shot the pictures, but we set the light together, had the camera on a tripod and worked together so we are all photographers in every picture! We decided together that we wanted a gif where the model would be soaring around in the air with various outfits. We chose to make it black and white based on some words we got: cool, cred, street, rock, CK One etc… yet we wanted them to pop, hence the colors. Evelina talked about cutting figures out and putting them on the pictures, and made a sketch for that. There was not enough time though so I edited some pictures and drew triangles on them instead, based on her sketch – which turned out really nice! We wanted the colors to shine through in everything we made, and I think we did really well! It was very fun and interesting to work with this, and to work as a group with the shoot, editing and so forth. Stressful, but fun!

A huge thanks to Per for guiding us, putting this creative idea in our head and for setting JO! Models up with us, and thanks to all the models from the agency, especially Ida who we had – she was great to work with! Thanks to Jennie and Jeanette as well – it was a blast to have such a huge team on set and to work with you all!

What are your favourite magazines out there, and why? Here are some of my favourites;

I read very little though, some stuff in ELLE and lantliv, but mostly I just look at the pictures, get inspired, wonder how they’ve done etc. Also, we have a local shop that sells tons of magazines, books and movies etc. second hand, and new magazines often end up there not long after they’ve been out in the stores – so I try to shop magazines there, it’s cheaper and better for the environment, re-using ftw!

That’s also why online magazines are so great. Although theres nothing like the feel of a new magazine in your hands, or the look of one with a lovely cover lying around in your apartment, telling visitors something about yourself…

Last monday (on Walpurgis Night), me and Andreas celebrated being together for 7 months, and we had a lovely day! Here’s some pictures from that day.

1. More water – less coffee (will be hard)
2. Time to eat more fruit
3. I’m gonna start going to poi practice again, instead of just heading home to sit by the computer
4. More walks out in the nature
5. Read more books (which I did like all the time before!)

This is a must! For my well-being and also I feel like I’m not using time to it’s fullest, need to change that!

We took a trip to my parents this saturday, starting off by grabbing a coffee at the station while we waited for the bus. At my parents, I played some Zelda – Skyward Sword (and cursed a lot cause it’s so hard!), then we did some BBQing and we also played Trivial Pursuit. A calm and nice saturday.

On sunday, I had lunch with a lovely couple who’s wedding I’m shooting in a month from now, they are great and I have a good feeling about it all!

I developed and scanned a film this week, had sort of forgotten what was on it, but here’s some of it. Enjoy!
